"Willy Wonka" Dream Big field performance

On Thursday, October 14th, all of the students from 2nd and 3rd grade at Lincoln Elementary went out onto the field in beautiful rows of red and blue Lincoln scarves. Led by music teacher Ms. Assisi on a KHS band podium, the students all wearing school colors, sang and danced their hearts out to “The Candy Man” and waved colorful scarves to the inspirational piece “Pure Imagination”. The project was part of a desire for all of Lincoln Elementary and the KESD to “Dream Big!” in a year where we are all together learning and growing in a year of limitless opportunity! Special thanks to all of the Lincoln staff for being a part of this fun project and to Mr. Samuel Marshall, who took many of the incredible aerial photos and close up pictures of the students for us to enjoy.
